For Thankful Thursday today, I had to share this video. Rachel Platten, the singer who is rising to fame with her hit "Fight Song," stopped by to surprise a young boy who is fighting cancer and who is also a huge fan of hers.

So today I'm thankful that there are people in this world who want to help one another and support one another... in all different capacities and on all different scales.
Happy holiday weekend BB! I saw this video after hearing about it on the radio. What compassion Rachel had for a little sick boy! How was the first week of school? I hope you and Mr BB and D have a fabulous weekend. Lots going on over here but still trying to be low key too. Is that possible!?
Yes -- it's such a beautiful video. First week of school was okay... I'm trying to stay positive. I think all the stress of starting made it harder than what it normally would have been, so hopefully things only go up. Hope you got some rest time in this weekend! BB
